Moving your site to ZAZU.
Perhaps you're stuck on a platform you have outgrown, or you pay your agency for every small change. In that case ZAZU rebuilds your site in fast code that you own.
You keep your address and your place in Google, and your current site stays online until the new one is ready.
You get an answer from the person who will carry out the move.
What happens during a move.
A complete site is usually ready within a few weeks, depending on the number of pages and integrations.
The old site only goes offline once the new one is live, so there is never a day without a site.
Assess
We go through your current site to see which pages it has, what ranks well in Google and which forms and integrations it uses. Then we tell you what can move across, what could be better and what it costs.
Build
We build the new site alongside the old one, in a repository that belongs to you. Your customers don't notice any of this.
Review
You click through the new site. You tell us what isn't right, and we change it.
Switch over
We point your domain to the new site. We don't touch your email.
Afterwards
You cancel your old subscription. From then on you simply ask us for changes, in your own words.
What keeps working after the move.
These are the things that often go wrong in a move, and this is how we prevent that.
- Your address and your place in Google
- Your domain stays yours and does not change. Every old URL redirects to its new page. Links from other sites keep working and Google doesn't have to find you all over again.
- Your email
- Your email is tied to your domain rather than to your site. At the switchover we only change the record that points to the site, so your email carries on as normal.
- Your enquiries
- We rebuild your forms, and the enquiries arrive in the same place as they do now. We reconnect any booking system, payment provider or newsletter and test it before we switch the domain over.
- Your tracking
- Tracking is built into the new site from day one. You can see which page brings in which enquiry, after the move as well.
What you get back.
There is no longer a platform between you and your site.
A site that loads straight away
The pages are built in advance, so there is nothing left to load when someone opens them. At handover we measure speed, accessibility and search visibility, on mobile too, and you get that report with the site.
Everything belongs to you
The code sits in a repository in your name, and the hosting and the domain are on your account. If you stop working with us, you take everything with you, including a handover and a manual.
You ask for changes in plain words
You describe a new page, a different price or a new photo in ordinary language, and it is usually live the same day.
You stop paying for a platform
You no longer pay a monthly fee to a platform, all your data comes with you, and no agency keeps you tied in.
What ZAZU needs from you.
We do most of the work, but we need these things from you.
Access to your current site
We need the login for your platform, or for the company that manages it now, so we can collect the text, images and pages.
Access to your domain
We also need a login for the company where your domain is registered. On the day of the move, the only thing we change there is the record that points to the site.
What can go and what is missing
Tell us which pages you never want to see again and what your customers have been missing for years. A short list is enough.
Time to review
You click through the new site before it goes live, on your laptop and on your phone, because that is where your customers look too.
One person who decides
On your side there is one contact who makes the decisions, because that keeps the project moving.

That is all we need. Send us the link to your current site and we will look at whether it can move and what that would take.
