A website that delivers customers, not just compliments.
Good-looking is the minimum, not the goal. We build sites that go live fast, measure what they deliver from day one, and are entirely yours: domain, code and content in your name. No handover to the build team. We are the build team.
- We build it ourselves. No offshore team, no handover to "the developers". The people at the table are the people who build your site.
- Measurable from day one. Analytics, conversion tracking and A/B testing are in from the first deploy, not bolted on afterwards.
- Everything in your name. The domain, code and content are yours. Handover is built in, so you're never stuck with us.
Building without a black box.
Commitments you can check for yourself. This is what we hold ourselves to.
- 10 days
- from sign-off to live for an average brand site
- 90+
- Lighthouse score as the floor at delivery, not the target
- 100%
- ownership: domain, code and content in your name
- 0
- tickets needed for a text change: your editors can do it themselves
A site that just exists, or a site that works.
Most sites are delivered as an endpoint: nice-looking, signed off, invoiced. We build them as the starting point of something that gets better every month. That difference sits in how the project is put together.
The classic site builder
- Weeks of designing in Figma before anything actually works
- Measurement comes later, if there's still time and budget
- Going live is the end of the project
- A proprietary platform or CMS you're locked into
- A ticket and an invoice for every change
Building with Zazu
- A working prototype of your most important page in week one
- Analytics and A/B testing from the first deploy
- Going live is the starting point: measure, test, improve
- Open stack, everything in your name, handover built in
- Your editors can access it themselves, no tickets
We design directly in code.
The classic route is: weeks of sketching in Figma, sign-off on pictures, and then hoping the built site looks like them. We skip that translation step. You don't review a design, you review a working page, on your own phone, with your own copy in it.
That's not just faster. It also means every discussion is immediately about the real thing: does it load fast, does it read well, does the order make sense for someone who doesn't know you yet.
A working prototype first, then the rest
We start with your most important page, usually the homepage or the service page your traffic lands on. You steer on the real thing, and that sign-off becomes the benchmark for every other page. That way you review sharply once, instead of half-heartedly twenty times.
Mobile first, because that's where your visitor is
Well over half your visitors arrive on a phone, often more with ad traffic. So we design for the small screen first and scale up to desktop, instead of squeezing a desktop design down the other way around.
Speed as a build choice, not an afterthought
A slow site costs you visitors and ad return. That's why we choose a stack that is fast, instead of one that has to be made fast: static where we can, and a Lighthouse score of 90 or higher as the floor at delivery.
Copy is part of the work
The project never stalls on "content still to be delivered". You tell the story and bring the expertise, we write the copy so it matches how your customers search and decide.
You know what works from the first deploy.
Most sites go live without proper measurement, and then the tracking project starts anyway three months later. We turn that around: the measurement foundation is in place before launch, so from day one you can see which pages generate requests and which only pull visits.
That's also exactly what you need the moment you start advertising. A site without accurate conversion tracking makes every euro of Google Ads or Meta budget half blind.
- Analytics and conversion tracking, set up privacy-proof
- A lightweight A/B framework, ready for your first test
- Goals per page: calling, requesting or buying
- Connection with Google Ads and Meta as soon as you advertise
- Speed and Core Web Vitals monitoring after launch
Choice, not religion.
Which technology sits under your site is a business decision, not a matter of faith. Sometimes a simple static site is exactly right, sometimes your catalogue needs something heavier. We choose what fits your customer, your team and your budget, and explain why.
Brand and service sites
Built statically with Astro: extremely fast, secure and cheap to host. For businesses where the site needs to convince and generate requests.
Online stores
Shopify as the foundation, with custom work where it makes the difference: from page speed to feeds and connections with your ad channels.
Web apps and portals
Next.js for anything that needs to log in, calculate or connect: customer portals, configurators, dashboards and internal tools.
Your existing stack
On WordPress or another system and want to stay there? Then we work cleanly within what's already there, without turning everything upside down.
You're never stuck with us.
The most expensive setup in site building is invisible: the agency that stays the owner of your domain, your platform or your code. Leaving then means starting over. We build it the other way round, and that's a principle, not a perk.
Domain and hosting in your name
The domain is registered to your company and you have your own access to the hosting. We manage it for as long as you want, but the keys are yours.
Source code and content are yours
No closed platform, no proprietary CMS that means your site can't run anywhere else. Everything we build, you can take with you, to another agency or to your own team.
Your editors can access it themselves
Editing copy, posting a vacancy or publishing a blog post, you do it yourself, no ticket and no invoice. We stay involved for the bigger things if you want us to.
Handover built in
Documentation and handover are part of the project, not a separate quote. That keeps us sharp: you stay because it works, not because leaving is too expensive.
From first conversation to live.
No months-long process with layers in between, but a tight rhythm where you see something real every week. For an average brand site, there are ten days between sign-off and launch.
- 1Scope conversation: what the site needs to deliver
- 2Working prototype of your most important page
- 3Review and adjust, on the real thing
- 4Build of every page, including copy
- 5Measurement and staging: everything testable before launch
- 6Live, and then measure and improve
The platforms we build with
Frequently asked questions.
Welke CMS of platform gebruiken jullie?
Hebben jullie A/B-testen ingebouwd?
Ja.
What clients say.
Your site is the foundation under your ads.
Every euro of Google Ads or Meta budget lands on your site in the end. A fast site with accurate measurement makes your campaigns better, and in turn your campaigns tell you exactly which pages need to improve. That's why we prefer building and advertising to sit in one hand.
